Your safety is our first priority. Please read below for a list of precautions we are taking to ensure a safe worship experience. We offer in person services on Saturday evening and Sunday morning and an online worship service on Sunday morning!

In Person Worship — Saturday at 5:30pm and Sunday at 10am

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, also known as coronavirus, and in conjunction with statewide efforts to limit the community spread of the virus, BE Free has made some changes to our services and ministry programs. We want to emphasize these are precautionary measures and will be monitored and adjusted as necessary.

We are excited to offer in-person worship services on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. We are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of all in attendance. Please read the guidelines below as they detail the steps we are taking and how you can actively participate!

Current guidelines allow us to host up to 75 people at a worship service. We are permitted 75 each in the sanctuary and in the Fellowship Hall simultaneously, as long as there is no cross-traffic or co-mingling.

We ask that everyone reserve space for the service they want to attend by using the online sign up service (click the button under Worship Services on our home page to select your service time) or by calling the church during business hours. Sign ups will be available throughout the week but will close at 6pm on Friday of each week to allow for logistical preparation in advance of the service. Upon arrival, each family or individual will have reserved seating appropriate to the size of the group they registered. Family members may sit together and spacing in pews between groups will be at least six feet. Pews will be labeled with the names and number of those registered and attendees will be shown to their seats.

We are currently offering in-person services on Saturdays at 5:30pm and Sundays at 10:00am. Services last approximately 45 minutes. Although we must maintain masks and appropriate distancing within the church, you may also enjoy a time of conversation and fellowship in our courtyard outside after services.

Masks will be required. If someone comes in without a mask, one will be provided. Temperatures will be checked to help diminish the risk of asymptomatic transmission. Hand sanitizer is readily available at all entrances and exits. People will be asked to follow the signage for entry to and exit from the church. Arrows are affixed to floors and outdoor signage is provided to direct the flow of traffic. All pews, door knobs and restrooms are wiped down and sanitized between services.

At this time, we are not able to offer nursery – we are offering children’s church during our Saturday evening service. As restrictions ease, we will continue to expand these ministries but we are limited in what we can do right now.

Plates will not be passed for either offerings or communion. While we encourage electronic giving at this time, we do have giving boxes at the entrances and exits for those who wish to deposit envelopes. For communion, we have self-contained communion cups/wafers that you may pick up as you enter the church.

We continue to provide our online worship service at 10:00am on Sundays via Facebook and YouTube, which is available for replay throughout the week. For the moment, this service will include greeting, prayer, worship music, and a video recording of the sermon with the same message that is offered in person. In time, we hope to move toward live streaming our worship services directly from the sanctuary.

While it is not advisable to be in close physical contact with each other during this time, we encourage you to maintain fellowship with one another through phone calls, texts, emails and social media. Let’s continue to lift up our church family, our neighbors, our communities and our nation in prayer during this time. If you have not yet joined our Facebook group, this is a great time to do so, just search for BE Free Church.
